This session looks at the techniques and options available to
get optimal performance from nVision as a General Ledger reporting
tool. It looks at the indexing of ledger and summary ledger tables,
use of partitioning for both the ledger and tree selector tables,
management of statistics, compression, clustering, materialized
views and query rewrite. Then we will look at how on an Engineered
Oracle system (Exadata/Supercluster) some of that advice can be
different.
